Here at our clinic, we tailor all treatments and therapies to each individual patient. To do this, when you attend your first appointment, we’ll take a detailed history so we get to know you and your needs. This covers your background and lifestyle, any medical treatment you are already having or have had in the recent past, and details about your current condition. This enables us to provide options for therapies that are entirely bespoke to you.

As well as a little paperwork to complete, you’ll be given plenty of opportunity to tell your doctor of chiropractic more about any health-related conditions and concerns you have. We’ll also explore the options for treatment, taking your views into account every step of the way.

Your doctor of chiropractic will also carry out a few painless tests to determine the areas of your body that most need attention and the likely duration of the treatment. We may also arrange for x-rays if we think this will enhance our diagnosis or inform the options for the therapies we’ll carry out.

Same-Day Treatment

We’re often able to begin treatment from your very first visit. Physical therapy and spinal adjustments, for instance, may be part of the initial consultation. We‘ll also provide details for aftercare at home, including exercises you can do to improve your condition, the application of ice or heat packs and advice on avoiding particular activities and positions if applicable.

Finally, we’ll make further appointments for your next treatments. It’s important these happen to ensure your condition improves, and we’ll aim to arrange these to fit in with your own schedule.
